The Bulk Unit Issuance feature lets you issue units to multiple investors at once by uploading a CSV file. This is especially useful when processing a high volume of unit issuances that would be inefficient to process one by one.

Step 1: Prepare Your CSV

  • In the navigation pane, select Imports.

  • Click New Import at the top right.

  • Enter the import details:

    • Import name: Enter the name you would like to assign to the bulk import.

    • Type: Unit Issuance: (Selected by default)

  • Download the Bulk Unit Issuance CSV template.

  • Fill in the required details for each unit issuance. For more detail on the CSV format, please see below.

CSV Import Format

The CSV must follow the prescribed format:

Step 2: Upload Your CSV

  • Upload your completed CSV

  • If errors are found, the system will display them, allowing you to update your file and re-upload.

Step 3: Review and Confirm

  • Preview the uploaded data on the confirmation page.

  • From here, you can:

    • Download the CSV you uploaded

    • Edit the import if needed

    • Use the search function to quickly find investors, funds, or offers

  • Once reviewed, click Confirm to process the issuance.

Important Note: By importing these transactions, Caruso will automatically create the underlying allocation requests and payment records based on the unit issuance details provided.

Step 4: Notifications and Statements

  • If enabled: If enabled, investors will receive a Unit Issuance email, and a Unit Issuance statement will be published to the Investor Portal.

  • If disabled: Statements are stored in the admin app, hidden from the investor portal, and no email is sent.

If you have questions about preparing your CSV or encounter errors during import, contact the Caruso Support team by email or live chat.
