You can use Caruso’s File Converter tool to create a distribution payment file that can be directly imported into your banking platform, streamlining the payment process and reducing errors.
Step 1: Download the Payment File
Navigate to Schemes, then select Funds.
Choose the relevant fund from the list.
Go to the Distribution section.
Select the specific distribution. Please note: We strongly recommend choosing only finalised distribution payment files, as draft versions may still be subject to recalculation or updates.
Once inside the distribution, click the Download Report tab at the top right.
Select Distribution Payment File. The file will download to your computer in CSV format.
Important: To prevent upload failures, avoid opening or saving the file, as this may cause formatting issues.
Step 2: Convert the File
Navigate to Data & Reporting, then select File Converter.
Upload the payment file generated by Caruso.
Select the required banking format for your payment file.
If the account number matches a known format, the payment file type will be prefilled.
To update the format, click the dropdown menu and select the appropriate option.
Payment Currency Override:
Enable this option to select a different payment currency for your transactions from the dropdown menu.
Foreign Exchange Required?:
Select this option if a foreign exchange conversion is necessary for your payments.
Exclude International Bank Accounts:
Enable this setting to exclude investors with international bank accounts from the payment file.
Review your selections and any changes made.
Select Download to obtain your converted file.
Unzip the downloaded file to access the payment file.
Upload the payment file to your banking platform.
Important: To prevent upload failures, do not open or save the file after unzipping, as this may cause formatting issues.
Step 3: Use the Converted File
Upload the converted payment file to your banking platform to process the distribution payments.
