How to Review Your Holding Movements

Easily manage and review your Holding movement history in the Investor Portal.

Written by Fahim Kaidawala

The Holding Movements page shows all activity on your holdings, such as new investments, reinvestments, redemptions, and transfers. It was previously called Transactions. The page now covers every investing entity you have access to, so you can review all your movements in one place and export them for record-keeping.

Open the Holding Movements page

  • Log in to the Investor Portal.

  • Click Holding Movements in the top navigation.

The page opens on a table of your movements across all your investing entities, with the most recent first.

Understand the table

Each row is a single movement. The columns are:

  • ID — the reference number for the movement.

  • Date — the date the movement took effect.

  • Investing Entity — the entity the movement belongs to.

  • Type — the kind of movement, for example New Investment, Reinvestment, Redemption, or Off-Market Transfer. Some types show a further label beneath them, such as Principal.

  • Fund — the fund the movement relates to.

  • Class — the unit class involved.

  • Amount — the value of the movement. Amounts shown in brackets, for example (NZD 1,000.00), are reductions such as redemptions or transfers out.

  • Status — the current status of the movement, for example Complete.

To see the full detail of any movement, click View details on its row.

Filter and search

Use the filters along the top of the page to narrow the list:

  • Date range — set a start and end date.

  • Investing Entity — focus on a single entity.

  • Fund — show movements for one fund.

  • Type — show one kind of movement.

  • Classification — narrow by classification.

Click Clear filter to remove all filters and return to the full list.

Export to CSV

You can export your movements to a CSV file for your own records.

  • Select the movements you want using the checkboxes on the left. To include everything, use Select all in the bar at the bottom of the page.

  • Click Actions, then select Export CSV.

  • The file will download to your device.

Tip: Apply filters first, then use Select all to export only the movements that match, for example a single fund or a single financial year.
