Before you start
Your role needs the Connect AI apps permission. By default only the Super Admin role has it.
AI app connections must be turned on for your organisation. Contact Caruso Support to request this.
Important: Anything the app reads from Caruso is sent to that app's provider (for example OpenAI, Anthropic or Microsoft). Check your organisation's data privacy obligations to your investors before connecting one.
Set up the connection

The docs cover:
The server URL for your region
Signing in and allowing access, including the optional KYC data setting
ChatGPT, claude.ai, Claude Code and Microsoft 365 Copilot
Sign in to Caruso when prompted to open the docs.
Review and disconnect connected apps
In the navigation pane, select Settings
Under Caruso AI, select MCP Connections
To remove a connection, open the actions menu on its row, select Disconnect and confirm
The app loses access straight away.
AI credits
Each time a connected app reads data from Caruso, it uses one Caruso AI credit. A single question can need several reads. Usage shows as MCP tool call on the Credit Usage page.
