QTFN Reporting - Quarterly Tax File Converter

You can now use the Caruso File Converter tool to easily create the prescribed Australian Tax Office (ATO) reporting for Quarterly Tax File Number (QTFN).

Caruso supports the latest File Upload Specification (Electronic Specification v6.2.2)

Please follow the steps below to prepare your QTFN submission.

Instructions:

  1. In the Reports section, download the "All Holdings" report

    1. Select the report date which represents the end of the quarter that is being reported (e.g. 31 Dec 2024) when reporting for Q4.

  2. In the File Converter section, select the QTFN File Converter and upload the "All Holdings" report.

  3. As some required data is not held on Caruso, the converter will guide you to provide additional information.

Fund

  • All - Select all to download a zip file including one submission file per fund.

  • Fund - Select a specific fund to download one submission file for that fund

Supplier Details

  • Supplier ABN

    • If your Supplier ABN is the same as the Fund ABN (stored on Caruso as Fund - Registration Number), simply select the check box to auto-populate this field in each tile.

  • Supplier contact details

    • Please complete the remaining Supplier details. These will be included in each submission file.

Important notes: The following mappings have been made from the ATO requirements to Caruso data.

1) Investing Entities in Australia. This filters primary tax residency = Australia.
