How to Create Capital Raises

Caruso simplifies creating and editing capital raises, as well as managing data rooms to attract potential investors and promote your products.


Creating a Capital Raise

  • In the navigation pane, select Capital Raises

  • This opens the Capital Raise list page, where you can track all capital raises across funds and review their current status

  • Click Create Capital Raise at the top-right

  • Complete the required fields:

    • Fund – Choose the fund the raise will be associated with.

    • Name – Use a clear, descriptive title (for example, Centaur Property Fund – Series B – Q1 2025).

    • Unit Class (optional) – Select a unit class if the raise applies to one.

    • Digital Subscriptions – Enable to allow investors to apply and invest online.
      When disabled, investors will see a Contact Us button instead.

    • Payment Due Date – Set the final date for investors to submit funds.

    • Settlement Date – Enter the date when units will be officially issued.

    • Available Units – Specify the total number of units available.

    • Price per Unit – Enter the price of each unit.

    • Minimum/Maximum Units – Define investment limits per investor if applicable.

  • Click Save to confirm

Alternative Option to Create a Capital Raise

  • In the navigation pane, select Fund.

  • Choose the relevant fund.

  • Click the Capital Raise tab.

  • Click + Create Capital Raise.

  • From there, create a new offer.


Manage Your Capital Raise

After saving, a draft version of the capital raise is created, you must set up a Data Room to make the investment opportunity visible to investors. For detailed steps, see How to Create a Data Room.


Important Note: At no stage do we notify investors when a new investment opportunity is live. Updates of this nature are managed by the fund manager.
