Managing and Complete Tasks

How to open, edit, assign, add notes or documents, link tasks, and mark tasks complete or in progress.

To manage tasks effectively, follow the steps below.


Locate and Open the Task

  • In the navigation pane, select Tasks

  • Find the task you wish to action

  • Depending on your access level, you can:

    • Assign the task to a team

    • Assign the task to a teammate

    • Update the task properties

  • Click on the task to open and view its details


Add Documents to a Task

  • Click Add Document to attach files to the task

  • Documents will appear under the Documents tab


Add a Note

  • Click the Add Note button at the top right of the page.

  • Enter your comment in the text box and click confirm to save


Edit a Task

  • Click the ellipses (...) button at the top right.

  • Select Edit to modify task information in the dialog box.


How to Mark a Task as Complete

  • Click the ellipses (...) button at the top right.

  • Select Mark Complete.


Revert a Completed Task to In Progress

  • Click the ellipses (...) button at the top right.

  • Select Mark In Progress.

Note: This option is only available for tasks created by users, not for system-generated tasks.


Link Tasks

  • Navigate to the Related Tasks tab.

  • Click Relate Task to link tasks together.

  • A slide-out sheet will appear, allowing you to relate one task to another.


Assign a Task

  • Assign tasks to teams or team members using the dropdown menus within the task.

  • Alternatively, allocate tasks from the task menu.


Important

  • All tasks created within the Caruso Admin app can be marked as completed.

  • Compliance tasks must be completed by the investor via the Investor Portal.
