Managing an Account

Account management in Caruso: add notes, tasks, and documents, manage KYC/AML, lock accounts, resend confirmations, and view details.

Caruso helps streamline AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures, while also providing tools to strengthen investor relationships.


Step 1: Access the Account

  • In the navigation pane, select Accounts

  • Use the search or filters to find and select the required account


Step 2: Explore Account Actions

When viewing an account, the buttons in the top-right corner allow you to:

  • Create Task – Assign a task related to the account, such as follow-ups, meetings, or required actions

  • Add Note – Record important information or updates for future reference

  • Add Document – Attach relevant files such as contracts, forms, or identification documents

  • Impersonate – View or operate the system as if you were the investor, useful for troubleshooting or verifying the investor’s portal experience

Click the ellipsis (three dots) icon to access additional actions:

  • Lock Account – Restrict the account’s access to the Investor Portal. An email notification will be sent to the account holder

  • Resend Email Confirmation – Send a confirmation email if the investor’s email address has been updated


How to Navigate Account Tabs

Each account contains tabs to help you manage and view information:

  • Activity – View a log of account activity, notes, and documents.

  • Tasks – Create, view, and complete both admin and investor-related tasks

  • Documents – Store and manage account-related documents

  • Notes – View and delete notes associated with the account

  • Investing Entities – View, manage, and add new investing entities linked to the account

  • Connections – View and add informal relationships with other accounts

  • KYC – Manage identity verification, document checks, address verification, and PEP status

  • Details – View basic personal information such as name and email address
