In Caruso, an allocation request can be created on behalf of the investor through the Admin app.
Creating an allocation through the Admin app.
To initiate an allocation request on behalf of an investing entity, follow these steps:
1. Under the Offers tab select the relevant offer:
2. Select Add allocation:
3. Complete the allocation modal with necessary details and select Next:
Please note, this will send an email by default unless you toggle notification preferences off.
Managing allocations
Once the allocation has been requested it can be managed either by:
1a. Navigating to the offer itself and scrolling to the right and selecting the ellipsis (...):
1b. Navigating to the Allocation tab, selecting the relevant allocation and then the ellipsis (...) in the top right:
From here you can edit, cancel or confirm the allocation.
Please note that cancelling and accepting will notify the investor via email unless the notification preferences toggle is switched off.
2. Once the allocation has been confirmed, the status will change to Pending funds. Upon receipt of payment from the investor you can then Add payment to the allocation:
3. Once the payment has been added, the allocation status will be updated to Funds received.
