Caruso enables fund managers to seamlessly store and view email conversations between them and an account (investor) from the activity tab. Fund managers using any email provider, can simply ‘BCC’ a dedicated Caruso email address. This action automatically logs the email within the activity tab of all associated accounts in Caruso’s CRM.
This dedicated email is your organisation name followed by @bcc.getcaruso.com. In the screenshots used below, the organisation name is Ventura therefore, the dedicated email used is [email protected]
There are two methods to have emails recorded within an account's activity feed;
Email to an investor - Where the fund manager is the sender and an account (investor) is the recipient with the dedicated Caruso email address in BCC.
Forwarded Email - Where the email has been forwarded by the fund manager to the dedicated Caruso email address.

In this scenario, ensure that the dedicated Caruso email address is in the BCC section as below

For the second trigger, ensure that the dedicated Caruso email address is in the To section as below
Once successfully logged, the email will be visible from the account's activity feed
Click View to open the email in a pop-up.
Please note:
The logged emails will not include any attachments or images that were included in the original emails.
Your IT Admin can configure specific BCC rules to automatically include your custom BCC email address in all outgoing emails. This setup will ensure that every email is logged in Caruso.
In the event that you are unable to see the email log in Caruso, please ensure that the investor email address matches their Caruso account record.
