How to Log Emails with Caruso (BCC Functionality)

Caruso enables fund managers to store and view email conversations with investors directly in the Activity tab of the relevant account. By using a dedicated Caruso BCC email address, all email exchanges are automatically logged within Caruso’s CRM, making it easy to maintain a complete communication record.


How BCC Email Logging Works

Each organisation is provided with a dedicated Caruso BCC email address in the format: [your-organisation]@bcc.getcaruso.com

Emails can be logged using two methods:

Email to an Investor

  • When sending an email to an investor, add the dedicated Caruso BCC email address in the BCC field.

  • The email will automatically appear in the investor’s activity feed in Caruso.

Forwarded Email

  • To log a received or sent email, forward it to the dedicated Caruso BCC email address using the To field.

  • The email will be added to the relevant account’s activity feed.


Viewing Logged Emails

  • Logged emails can be viewed in the Activity tab of the relevant account.

  • Click View next to the email entry to open the message in a pop-up window.


Important Notes

  • Attachments and images from original emails are not included in logged entries

  • Your IT Administrator can set up automatic BCC rules so all outgoing emails include your Caruso BCC address

  • In the event that you are unable to see the email log in Caruso, please ensure that the investor email address matches their Caruso account record.
